Kingsman and our head contractor, Haydn + Rollett, are working extremely hard to ensure the programme for completion is being adhered to and, as you can see from the pictures, big progress has been made. Notwithstanding the fast pace of construction, quality and attention to detail is not being compromised and we are certain purchasers will be very happy with their finished apartments. The exterior cladding is now 90% complete with the fitout of apartments now complete on ground and levels 1 and 2. Painting, waterproofing and tiling in bathrooms, kitchens and toilet areas is continuing for the remainder of the building.

The team are racing ahead, the structural steel and concrete floors have now been completed and the internal walls are being installed as we speak. Great progress in this quarter despite some rainy days, external cladding and windows are getting delivered on site. Scaffolding has reached its full height and we are expecting to see the roof of O.K.L.A. being closed within the next two months.

The building is starting to take shape and is well on track for completion in Mid 2020. The Haydn & Rollett team is continuing structural steel installation on site with concrete being poured on level one and level two. A comprehensive subcontractor induction progreamme has been developed for the site.

Level two and level three concrete slab and precast units are being installed. structural steel for level four and level five has been delivered on site.

Kingsman Development and Haydn & Rollett, along with all key consultant teams have worked closely to set up an efficient program to allow different parties to closely monitor construction progress. Thanks in part to one of Auckland's driest winters yet, the construction of O.K.L.A. is progressing well. Due to no basement carpark and therefore reduced groundworks, speed of construction is enhanced. Haydn & Rollett Construction has allocated a significant number of workers as on-site equipment continues to increase. The civil drainage work is almost complete and pouring the foundation concrete will initiate the next phase of construction.

Monday 18th June saw the ground breaking ceremony take place and the beginning of construction milestone achieved. Auckland’s fastest-selling apartment project in second half of 2017 is under construction only eight months after it was launched to the market. The project is anticipated to be completed in 24 months, with on-grade car parking significantly reducing the build time compared with other projects currently on the market requiring basement car parking.
